Plant and Animal Production Department

Turkey holds a significant position in global agriculture due to its suitable ecological conditions and is considered a gene center for various plant and animal species. Many species and varieties can be easily cultivated in Turkey because of its favorable agricultural potential. Our Plant and Animal Production Department aims to train qualified Technicians who have sufficient knowledge in plant and animal product production, quality control, preservation, and preparation for the market. They will be able to meet the research and development support and other personnel needs of both public institutions and the private sector. The department includes three programs: Horticulture, Mushroom Cultivation, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
