Our vocational school was established in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, based on the decision of the Higher Education Council General Assembly dated 22/09/2000, and effectively started its educational activities in the 2001-2002 academic year.
Our higher vocational school operates with six (6) departments and eight (8) programs. The school is dedicated to providing student-centered education, delivered by experienced faculty members, with the goal of producing individuals who are academically and professionally competent, and who can contribute to the country's development. The school offers quality education and maintains a sustainable learning environment.
All programs within our higher vocational school are taught using computer-aided instruction by expert faculty members in their respective fields. The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical components. At the end of the 4th semester, students have the option to participate in internships to gain practical experience and enhance their skills. Additionally, various social and cultural activities, training programs, and seminars are organized periodically to support students' personal development.
Graduates from our higher vocational school, with the titles of "Technician" and "Professional Staff," find employment in various positions within the public and private sectors' organizational structures. Those who achieve sufficient scores in the "Vertical Transfer Exam," conducted annually by the Student Selection and Placement Center, can continue their education by transferring to 4-year undergraduate programs at universities in our country and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
